Rainstar padded quickly to Spiritstone. She was trying hard not to trip on anything because she was so excited. As she reached the great stone, she layed down and touched noses with the glowing rock.
The cherry tress were in full bloom. Rainstar walked along a well worn path laiden with cherry blossoms. A breeze ruffled the branches of the trees, causing cherry blossoms to take flight. A few fow-lengths ahead of her yet still out of sight, was the silouet of her lover.
With the sun beaming on her pelt, Rainstar ran ahead to meet him. She let out a purr as the nuzzled wach other.
"Sin, I miss you so much. Rainstar purred, looking up into his emerald green eyes.
"I know, I've missed you too. But I've been watching you Rainstar. I'll make sure nothing ever happens to you."
Rainstar took a moment to drink in his warm , familier scent, "But I'm worried Sin, these past few moons have been hard on us, not just us, all the clans. ANd with Flashingfin and all..."
"Flashingfin would have made a great deputy but he let his feeling get in the way. Be careful Rainstar. A brooken heart is any digirein's most powerful weapon. He wants to love you." Sin said in a caring and understanding voice.
"But what do I do?" Rainstar asked. She was confused. What was she to do about Flashingfin? Would the clan suffer because of their akward relationship?
"Follow your heart." Sin said simpley, "Your heart has lead you this far so you can't be doing that bad." Sin said warmly.
"Oh Sin, I wish I could be with you."
As Rainstar's vision became blurry, she drank in Sin's scent for one last time.
Rainstar awoke, she had mixed emotions. She was happy to see Sin again but her problem with Flashingfin kept bothering her. Looking back at Spiritstone one last time, she turned and left. Everything would be better in the end...wouldn't it?
Sin looked down as Rainstar walked out and smiled. Her really was always watching her.
