Firetamer nodded and padded silently to the left. As she krept closer she could almost taste the deer. Nodding her head towards Digi, letting him know she was ready, she waited anxtiously for her que.

Digi grinned, letting his white fangs show. He let out a loud growl, getting the attention of the deer. He then lept out of the tall grass and grabed onto the neck of the deer, biting hard.

Firetamer lept too, ouncing on the deer's powerful hind legs, biting down hard, Firetamer got off, figuring the deer was now dead.

The deer was not dead, but getting close. Digi was the strongest, so his fangs could the quite get in deep enough. The deer flinged Digi off, making him hit the ground hard, and then charged at Firetamer.

Firetamer laughed at the charging deer. Although she was suprised that it was able to fling Digi off.
"FLAME THROWER!" Firetamer yelled, sending fire balls at the deer, "It looks like we're having bbq today!" Firetamer joked, still sending the balls of fire at the doe.

The deer, now half cooked, fell to the ground. Digi stood up slowly and keeled down beside it, poking it with his claw. "It's dead now, and half cooked to boot!" He chirped, smiling up at Firetamer.

Firetamer laughed and sat down next to Digi, "I know I'm so awsome!" Firetamer smiled and joked, "At least this time he's sell done. Remember last time I tried to cook a deer. He was almost nueclear waste that's home much I burnt him!" Firetamer made fun of herself. It had been a while since she'd had this much fun. She liked being around Digi- he was her best friend and she could be someone else around him.

Digi nodded. "I remember that time, it was when we were younger." He then looked nervier. "You almost cooked me too! I had to get Goldenfire to splah water on you!"

Firetamer blushed slightly, "Wow, that was when we were apprentices....I didn't realize how long ago that was." Firetamer gazed into nothingness for a moment, "I'll never forget the look on your face when Goldenfire's water splashed you! That lok was priceless! But I remember how much trouble I was in for nearly burning down the clan! I didn't know how to control my powers very well. Come to think of it, neither did you but you NEVER got in trouble! Gosh, that wasn't fair!" Firetamer teased.

"Oh, I got in trouble. You were just not around when it happened." Digi said, grabbing the deer and slinging it over his shoulder. "And don't tell me you forgot when I caught my first prey. I nearly made the hole place flood!" (He seems to have powers over all the elements, and she never saw him in trouble cause he aways held his powers back until she was gone...)

Digi glanced at her before turning away, blushing slightly. "I-I didn't want you to worry, thats all...." He stammered, putting his hand on his forehead.

Digi was getting more embarrassed by the second, his face now beet red. "I-I.. um... You see..." He stuttered, trying his best for Firetamer not to see his face, only to spot Shattered looking at them, making him blush harder.

Firetamer felt a warmth grow inside of becuase of Digi's protectiveness.
"Digi, are you blushing?" teased Firetamer. Although she couldn't shke this feeling of warmth from her.

"No, I am not!" Digi shouted over his shoulder, although you could see that his face was bright red before he looked away again. "Lets go, the gatherings is going to start soon." He said as he walked away.

Firetamer laughed but said nothing else. Instead, she slackened her pace and followed Digi for a bit. It was a surreal feeling not having any extra duties. this was the first time in a long time that Firetamer really felt relaxed.
